What's better and why?

What advantages and disadvantages?

Superchargers have large parasitic loss and in general arn't going to make as much power, but they have smoother tq/hp curves so they are easier to drive (this comes in to play if you accidently hit boost in a corner in a turbo, and fly off the road). It depends what you wanted to do. Personally, 1/4mi racing or street use, turbo would work well, but if you were autoxing or tracking I'd stay NA or get a supercharger.

prices range from expensive, to super expensive... your question should be how much power do i want, then you can start your search.... turbo of course will allow you to have much more power then a supercharger, but of course it also cost a lot more.......

supercharger is cheaper than turbo
with supercharger you can get 13-13.5 quarter mile, with turbo - 12-12.5

By tracking I mean Road Courses such as Road America or the like.
