Waiting room??? Don't even expect that bro.
Services here are in inverse proportion to the Price.
They might be proud of themselves that they are ONLY one dealer here.

They better have a waiting room with a huge sofa, room service with 5-star cuisine, a bottle of Don P poured for you by at least 5 hot women taking turns giving you lapdances and who knows what else while you smoke a 100 dollar cuban cigar!

Damn bro, that's more than just rapage. Forget asking him for the KY.
He's literally bending you over and NOTusing any lube. I'd hate to be around after that

headers are a major pain in the @@@. I paid right at 500 bucks and it took 12 hours. Now it sounds like i've got a leak at the driver side manifold. And for what? 6 hp at the most. I think headers are the most overrated mod out there.

After you install headers, you need to check the bolts after the motor heats up and then cools down at least once. Headers alone may not add much power (6hp is still a lot) but they will help other mods perform better. It's all about getting air into and out of the motor efficiently.

Headers are a serious pain to get in and I'm sure the dealer does not want to do it. It could easily turn into a 2 day event and prevent the mechanic from doing more profitable smaller jobs. Plus, the dealer has no idea what the quality of the headers are and if they are prone to leak. I'm suprised the dealer would even offer to do the job.

if you were charged 12hrs of labor you were raped.....and i'd bet that the leak is from a poor/sloppy install.

I stood there while they did it buddy. It took from 10 in the morning until 10 at night. It is a long, painful experience. They didn't charge me for 12 hours, and they charged me a lot less than most are getting quoted on here for labor. Get your facts straight before you go talking about people getting raped.

yea they are, ask UFGATOR about them. They are huge and have very little clearance. I guess the egine has to drop etc etc. not worth it to me but just my opinion. I changed my headers on my last mustang and blew a gasket every 6 months or so no matter what i did. not sure if the G is the same but i wont mess with the headers, FOR NOW! RX

i payed ~$600 for my crawfords to get installed at lokey infiniti. 1k is very high but thats what most dealers will charge since its a difficult install.

As far as the cats go, that BS. Lokey installed my crawford cats for free since they have to remove the stock cats anyways. so its no extra labor to swap them out for aftermarket ones.

One thing I always followed was a basic concept I learned with modifing my 11 sec eclipse, learn to do the mods yourself. If it breaks, you know how to fix it. Soon you'll have more confidence in your own work and would trust it over a job done by someone else. Not only that, the only cost you have to bicker about is the cost of the parts.
