Dealer ask me 1G for header install??
Yeah..
I've been researching on header and cats.
Finally decided buying Crawford Header but i don't want to mess anything up while installing.. So asked dealer about installment..
I assumed around 3-400 tho
But Damn.. they asked me $1000 for the header install...
I think I have to check out in Dallas or Houston dealer.
Any guys know the best deal in TX ?
I don't really see any modified car around my area tho.
A THOUSAND?? Man that's hell outta money

Doh! Must have been Austin Infiniti.
Grubbs in Dallas does aftermarket installations of stuff. You might want to call them. They do SC installs, turbo installs, etc.
There are many shops in Austin that can do it for you, that are not the dealer.

As you know i work at an infiniti dealership in socal. We do some performance stuff and my service director says he does not want to mess with headers and cats. I was reacently approached from one of my customers who asked me to install his headers and test pipes so i asked my tech who installs all of my performance parts if he would do it on the side and he said he would install Header, Test pipes (hi-flow cats), and exhaust system for $300.00. So now we have 2 people coming in this sat and sunday for installs. That is a really good price for that amount of work, but when you are a factory trained tech and have a lift at a dealership....it's a bit easier.
