Checking and Refilling Oil

Just checked my oil with the dipstick today for the first time and I'm not sure how much to put it in. The oil is at 25% between the Low and High Meter, so I am thinking half a quart?

I usually get an oil change every 3 months @ around 3000-4000 miles and refill it with Mobil 1 Synthetic. But, it's been about 5 months and I've only driven it 2k miles, so I would just like to top it off as the oil isn't that dirty.

Taken from the Maintenance section of the service manual:

7. Warm up engine and check area around drain plug and oil filter for oil leakage.
8. Stop engine and wait for 10 minutes.
9. Check the engine oil level.

Normally, how much oil does it take for it to go from 25% dipstick level to at least 75%?

The area between min and max on the dipstick represents one quart of oil. so if it is at 25% and you pour in 75% of a quart, you will be at max on your dipstick. And I emphasize that you wait at least 10 minutes before checking the oil to get an accurate reading. Also make sure you are on a very level surface..
