I inspected the headers, no cracks, don't have any abnormal noises, slight ticking sound, but but sounds like normal metal cooling, like on the exhaust. Made an appt with a dyno to compare with my previous one

depends on the brad of headers..

Headers have the ability to move HP/TQ from Low to Mid to High RPMs.. heres an example of just how much headers can effect your car.. i can make your car gain 20wtq at low RPMs and have you spin tires and make smoke like no other but you're pretty much at a brick wall at high RPMs..

length of the headers will determine where the power band will be (low high mid)
diameter will determine the peak of the power band
variations in length:
1. Equal = VERY agressive peak /\
2. 1"-2" whatevers difference = less agressive peak but the curve is stretched for a longer power band

These are the Crawford headers. The car does feel "lighter", but as I said, where I was able to beat my friends car regularly, now it's dead even. Have an appt on Wed. for the dyno. Now I had Jet Hot applied and they had to re-tap the MAF hole for the sensor b/c it wouldn't fit back in. What do you think?

I think who ever coated your headers is an idiot. Havn't they coated enough headersto know to plug up the damn hole..
