Miss that VQ35 sound

Yeah I think he should be the first to pioneer the incorporation of high flow cats into an APS TT system... you think he should patent it too?

True Duals seem to have a beefier, more muscular sound, and test pipes just make it even beefier, and more muscular.
Designs like the Fujitsubo exhaust seem to keep the exotic VQ sound the most. I know its basically a stock looking design, but at least the Fuji is a 3" exhaust and not a 2.5" exhaust like stock.
JIC also has a exhaust with the same stock looking design and its 3.15" in diameter, but i have never heard a sound clip or anything for the JIC

Taurran from My350Z: "'Ive got the Fujitsubo Legalis-r with the Turbonetics ST and it sounds great. I think it's a slightly quieter than stock with the turbo, but it sounds real exotic, very deep and smooth when under boost. You can actually hear the turbo spool well with it and no drone in the car."

Kevin, I understand what you're saying.
My Nismo exhaust and APS 2.5" down pipes sound pretty crappy between 3-4K rpms. The only thing I've found after talking to several exhausts specialists to get back the "exotic sound" is to get cats back on. But of course you're loosing power, not sure about the new cats from APS but if you go with their 3" exhaust as well, maybe that will make up some of the flow loss. You should ask this over at the Z FI site or of course expect to get flamed here.

So go with a Fuji and some Crawford Cats, i have heard the Nismo exhaust is a bit more drone to it then the Fuji.
