Miss that VQ35 sound

I love the way a VQ35DE sounds right off the lot. After having my car for 2.5 years it doesn't have the same tone to it, and I miss the way it used to sound. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to revive that stock VQ sound?

Thanks,

k, stop messing with him (though he was asking for it ). I think he's got a legit issue and one I worry about. The turbo muffles that nice exhaust note. Is there any way to get it back with the turbo on there?

Well, the cams don't help either, it leaves a rather raspy sounding exhaust note. Its not smooth and sexy anymore, its rough and mean. I like smooth and sexy.....

I guess you need a recorder to record the stock VQ sound and play it under car when desired.. I forgot what the thing is called..

It is definitely one of the greatest inventions in the world, just like the infamous turbonator that can be stacked to yield the effect of a Turbo setup!!!

Thanks,
If you have a True Dual exhaust, with test pipes, i would switch it out with a Fujitsubo exhaust and high flow cats. I think that that will return some of the exotic tone.
