Thumbs up 2004.5-06 G35x AWD Sedan OEM Y-Pipe and Mid-Pipe

Got what I needed. Bought a muffler and mid-pipe. Decided to forgo changing out the Y-pipe for now.

Thanks to ryanm8 for the muffler and jhern1016 for the mid-pipe.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Looking for the two parts mentioned in the Subject Line for the AWD sedan.

Needs to be from a 2004 through 2006.

Somebody have something laying around from an exhaust upgrade?

Naturally I'll pay for shipping.

first off OP any 03-07 Coupe or Sedan y pipe will fit. the listed pink you have is the HR Y pipe which came on the newer g37's...07 Sedans that are g35's may be an exception with the HR Y pipe but they all bolt up across the board. The picture that was listed is not what you get actually...

With that being said I have an 04 Sedan mid pipe sitting in my shed if you need one. Would need to pay alittle bit for it because shipping will be around 100.00 dollars roughly.

here is an 03-07 coupe and 03-06 sedan y pipe versus HR y pipe

I was coming to that conclusion too until I checked my copy of the 2004.5 Sedan factory service manual, I have the AWD version and the Y-pipe is different between the 2WD and the AWD, Probably because of the transfer case, The manual shows that the Y-pipe for the AWD looks like the one on the right in the picture. I've attached a PDF version of the Exhaust System portion of the manual.

in g35man04's pic, the y pipe on the left will not fit. The OP needs a 04-06 G35x AWD y pipe or a HR Y pipe, like the one on the right. Any midpipe from 03-07 coupe or 03-06 sedan will fit. Different size resonators but all will fit.
