After doing a lot of research on what most of you guys run, and the mods associated, we have found that the Cobb Accessport is by far the best plug and play tuning program yet. We had success with the UTEC, but it seems its better suited for those looking to go full custom tune. Many of you have the basic bolts ons: Exhaust, Intake, plenum, headers etc. and this is perfect.
Our experience with the accessport:
The car: 2008 Mazda RX8 w/Greddy Turbo Kit

Last year: we put together the car and it came with the greddy emanage ultimate (the largest piece of junk ever - a blue paperweight!). We could not tune and were really frustrated with the emanage.
This year: Scrapped the Emanage for the Cobb accessport with a custom tune (flash) for the car (the mazda accessport is really limited).
Results: The car fires up every time better than stock (this is impressive for a rotary). The tuning is smooth and the accessport is great to work with. Its user friendly, plugs straight into the OBD2 reader, and has great features like
Gas mileage reading
Error code checking/Diagnostics
Wideband AirFuel Reading (RX8 comes with a wideband stock)
etc.
All in all the accessport was a great investment that made driving the car feel like a stock turbo car - no log nothing.
The 350z/G35 Accessport:
The G35 accessport is great for the bolt on guys. We just wanted to share our experience letting you know we use the product ourselves. For the Z/G, there are 3 levels in which you can get the accessport:
Level 1:
Stock car no mods. This optimizes fuel curves and ignition tables since your car runs rich from stock and gives you 4% HP Increase from stock.
Level 2:
Intake bolt on mod. With an intake, the car produced 6% more HP over how much it was making with just the intake through optimizing the fuel and ignition tables.
Level 2+:
This is for those who have every bolt on mod: Intake, header, exhaust, plenum spacer etc. THis netted a whopping 10% increase on top of the power that was already made from the installed parts. This is in the range of a 25whp increase over what the mods have done already!
