Hmm $120k thats it huh? Man I would love to do something like this. I did a Santa Run 100 last winter, that was fun. Only a 100 mile run. It was a charity event.

Does anybody know what the grand prize for winner the Gumball is?

There are no winners as it's not a "race." But the team that "averages highest" out of the field gets a trophy and recognition at the final party.

The Spirit of the Gumball award is what everyone wants. AKA, it's not when you get there, it's HOW you get there.

I'm invited to go again every year, but it's too much cheese. These day's it's back weeding the applicants down to the original idea: Those with cars so badass they are sponsored, and the independently wealthy.

Getting on is next to impossible, every single car and its driver are hand picked. When I was accepted in 03 there were only 30 spots, and over 10,000 applications.

Oh I see. Thanks for pointing out the guidelines. I never really looked into it but always caught interest in it. I knew it was hand picked people tho. Its something not for everybody, but I would love to do it one year in the future.

Nice car show off event, always make me jealous.

$120k to enter? I don't need to pay any money to showoff my G in the getto. The idea is pretty similar.

^^^This event isn't just a show. Its a show at certain checkpoints. Its really a rally across the U.S. with exotic cars.

Yea, I know. They do this in many different countries, too. Including North Korea. But still, it's still just a show off event, just from check point to check point
