For those very few who may be interested, the closest 1/4 mile drag strip near DFW will be open this February. A few people asked about this, so I'm posting with info.

Track: TEXAS MOTORPLEX
Place: Ennis, TX
Dates: Feb. 9th, 16th, 23rd (all Saturdays)
Time: Gates open at 11am, race from 12pm-6pm
$15 dollars to race 1/4 mile

Now, there will be rules enforced, so if you don't know what they are, be sure to search for them (or ask).

We are meeting up at Starbucks on exit 26, which is Campbell and 75. And meet up by 9:45 and leaving at 10:00 sounds good. As with before, we're leaving at 10am sharp, so if you're late, then you'll have some catching up to do.

I got a 13.4 @ 105.45 with wheel spin off the line. I only got three runs in before having to leave. My time slip is post on the my350z thread.

How was the quality of the track down there? was it busy?

 

It was busy. I only have a nismo exhaust on the car. All my mods are for auto cross. struts,spring,sways

My runs were done on 245 nitto crap tires as well.
