Alum Creek Meet Details Below..

June 20th 2009

So this years Alum Creek Meet is going to be at a different time of the year due to another event taking precedence. :lol: Instead of being a spring meet it will be a summer meet this year. It will be similar to past AC meets with one exception. We will not be going to Dave and Busters immediately afterwards. Instead we will be heading to Magic Mountain for some go karting to demonstrate the drifting techniques we learned from the F&F. This will be a C3G, 350Z, G35 and EvoX meet.

The meet will begin at noon at the beach area of Alum Creek State Park. There will be cornhole setup and a football/frisbee to throw around. Depending on interest I'll try to set up a car show for the 3G's or 350z's.

Somewhere in the area of 4-6pm we will head over to Magic Mountain for some go karts then off to BW-3s for dinner. After BW-3s we will head out to a local establishment that serves alcoholic beverages and proceed to do what the GLR does best. :cheers:

Sunday morning will be breakfast at Bob Evans for those that survive.

Please post up any questions or to sign up. Closer to the meet I will have a sign up for people to bring stuff to the cookout like we have in years past.

Im still up in the air about Alum Creek. I put in for the day off but Im in training this week so Im not at my normal garage to get the paper back telling me yes or no. The day was blocked out but maybe just maybe someone has canceled something.

 

I'm up in the air about the Alum Creek meet as well. That Gumball Rally is the same day I think and I really wanted to do that lol.

 

Gumball Rally? Kind of like the Gumball thing they have nationwide with bunch of super cars driving across country?

 

Let me know the details on this....I am planning on coming up, but will be coming from Louisville, so gimmie the details....address, times, etc...Might make it up in time to roll there with you all...

Its back at the body shop to fix some flaws that i didnt like and needed more clearance but they said they will have it done by next week. After that i just need a day to take it to the auto spa to put on the clear bra and im set to start breaking in the engine!

 

^ when you are breaking in the engine dal...just remember the exhaust comes out the exhaust, not the side of the engine block! hahahaha

I want to go, but probaly will meet ya there? Don't want to drive south then back north unless we can meet at a spot before we drive in together - Anyone else want to go from the CLeveland/Canton area? Brian out west?
