RiceKiller Supershow - July 9th - American Airlines Center!
#167
ROFL, I read this on the ricekiller forum. The truth will eventually come out, I promise you. And when it does, I will be there pointing and laughing.
from jareds mouth. it cost 15k to rent aac lots, and only 50 of the promised 80 rooms were rented, ip had to pay for the left over 30 rooms as per some contract, so there had to be around 17-18k made before they started dontating to charity, but atleast 1000+ cars and at least 2500+ people, and IF everyone paid their $10 then atleast $20000 was raised made so hopefully a couple $k gets donated. but im blaming IP for all failures

This goes back to my original theory of if the money for children were that important, then spending $15k to rent a lot doesn't seem very cost effective.
Could have easily just donated $15k instead to the hospital with a big $129 check that says, "On behalf of Ricekiller and Imported Performance."
With what was posted on the RK forum, I wouldn't be surprised to see some new parts on that 350Z that has less money in suspension mods than Jason has in his G35.
Edit: BTW Stephen, I owe you a fkn beer or two. That was my mistake for not getting it while you were still here. There is no excuse, just an apology from me. I was being rude.

Also, I heard some thing from Wayne in 16niss that he's working on a show to come to Houston so we'll keep our eyes peeled for that.
As far as BBQ. Tony I mentioned on facebook that you guys are more than welcome to join us. Son asked me about it a while back and we've been wanting to do a meet like this for sometime.

Sure sorry to hear all the bad feelings from the out of town groups, but it sounds like the show fell far short on meeting everyone's expectations and that was a long way to travel for such an unorganized event. Seemed like they let a bunch of "works in progress" into the main lot that should have been put out in the back forty.
On a positive note, I took the wife and kids and there was at least a lot of cars to look at. We all loved looking over the Houston groups G's, so I just wanted to let you guys know some of us local DFW people really appreciated your rides. There was obviously a huge amount of effort put into those cars and it showed.![CLAP](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/clap.gif)
Hope to see them again sometime under better circumstances.
