Cool Car and Driver First Drive: Infiniti EX35

Car and Driver First Drive: Infiniti EX35

Figure 0 to 60 around 5.8 seconds for all-wheel-drive EXs, with rear-drivers making the mark a tenth or two sooner.

Yeah, I'm sure it will be a new bread and butter vehicle for Infiniti.

C&D quote "...With options, the cost will push into the mid- to high-$40,000s, territory currently occupied by the BMW X3, Land Rover LR2, and excellent Acura RDX."

Don't they mean MDX? A fully-loaded RDX comes in under 38G. And to compare the EX with an MDX is a bit odd anyway, the MDX is larger all around with 3rd row seats, is it not?

Okay, I've got to think over this one. There is no way my wife can drive a SUV that's faster than my G35 Coupe. Do they make a 4 cylinder model or something?

How are these numbers possible. Doesnt the G37 do 0-60 in about 5.8 or so? This new 3.7 engine is looking pretty suspect.
