I really don't notice any significant change in the exhaust sound. If its any louder now I'm sure not noticing it. The sound may now be a little deeper, especially at WOT, but I'm not even sure of this right now. I'll have a better idea if the Y-pipe has changed the exhaust sound on Tuesday when I go back to work since I park my car inside a 5 story indoor garage. That's when I really get to hear my G's exhaust sound.
My "butt-dyno" says the car is pulling a little harder overall and especially around 3000 rpm. Overall, I'm pleased with this latest mod.

All 3 gaskets that came with the Y-pipe were the same size and they only fit the rear connection properly, not the 2 front ones to the cats.

I wish I had easy access to a dyno around here. It would have been nice to do some before and after comparisons.
I do notice some pleasant, subtle, deeper resonance sounds when cruising on the highway at about 70-80 mph; certainly not any type of "drone" or "rasp".
Overall, I'm very happy with the performance of my car at this time.
