What makes the 06 lights different from the other years?

 

I think it's just the reverse light. 03-05 is a circle, 06+ is the rectangle, with the little dot on the left tail light (which i still can't find out why its there/what it is). Thats tail lights

Headlights is the 06+ have projectors, 03-05 don't. And the turning signal is amber on 03-05, whereas 06+ it's white.

 

not exactly . The reason everyone want 06 tails is because the outer lens is 3 dimentional instead of flat like the 04 tails . Also has diffusor inside,rectangular reverse and built in trunk button .

 

Is that what the little square thing is beside the reverse on the left tail lights?

 

yup . Most people dont use it when upgrading though
