Didn't take much prep at all to get mine to fit perfectly. You'll want to test fit and make adjustments to fit your car anyway since every car is slightly different.

Wish I woulda seen that Grant was selling. Woulda definitely have wanted to pick it up. What a great pickup. What's damaged on the bumper? Looks to be in great condition to me besides the dirt. Mine was cracked bad in the middle and in several places in the lower passenger front side.

Also, if you wanna do something custom the shop that I took my cracked KuRookie too gave me a great deal meshing two bumpers together. If you can find another bumper they can fuse the two together..would be sick to see another custom front out there. I'll be using a VIP styled bumper off a Lexus LS or GS or an Infiniti Q or M when I redo mine.

the damage is not bad, the brackets are busted, just that part needs to be done. this is the second rookie ever made.. so it hangs low on the side closer to the wheel.. so need to get that trimmed like 1/2 an inch on each side, and it seems to flare out some from each side, so just some work and TLC. might have a shop around SD do it.. just cuz i dont have a commute....

although auto explosion has experience with this. but im sure some shops can do a decent job.

I never planned on selling it, it was just sitting in my backyard in a side shed under a tree, been there for a couple years now. SocialConflicts said he was looking for one so I let him take it off my hands since it needs some work and paint

i was surprised to see grant have this, i was never aware of it. this whole week is hectic so i wont be able to get it done this week, im hoping to find a local shop here in SD within the next 3-4 weeks. im super excited! i look at the bumper, and this thing looks like a princess to me! (do not mind the make-up she sucks at it )

i have heard of certain clearcoats that help in preventing cracks (they are thicker coats, if not get a sorta custom clear bra)

so far the shop im looking at though i have not called is
Hawley Auto Body & Paint (great reviews in yelp)
Chapparone Auto Body & Painting (also great reviews on yelp)

but i may try the place 25b took it (just not sure if they do FG work.)

Anyone know if the KuRookie or Kuruma is best for a 2006 G35 sedan? Which one is POLY? I dont want fiberglass. Where and how much?

Poly was never made and probably never will be made for the sedan.

Hmmm :(

For either one?! Dam, I just dont like how fiberglass is so sensative and cracks. Anyone know who fabricates in the Phoenix, Arizona area?? Thats the exact look I'm going for, just want good material. PolyEurethane is the way to go...
