I have an 06. I just took off the usdm harness and swapped it with the trunk button and all. Looks like you can just switch the trunk button but I didn't try it. The wires might be different. But my trunk button works fine. Only thing is the side bulb isn't there on the jdm tail light so you have to tuck it in.
