Interested in ordering one for my Diamond Graphite Sedan but had a few questions first with pictures.

First is my front bumper has this weird plastic piece on the bottom as seen in picture, no idea why it is there anyone know what this is lol? Also will it effect installation? I can prob just shave it off easy if needed.

Bottom of my front bumper.

Inside of the wheel well where side of lip will attach I believe?

This is my first time ever installing anything like this, but from the comments it sounds like it is pretty simple. My car was in an accident and the front bumper was repaired so making sure you guys think everything looks fine to install the lip to.

Here is the damage I also tried to push the bottom black grille insert in and for some reason the last corner wont lock in place, car was like this when I bought it. I know my Fault for buying it like this but got a great deal.

Sorry for the large post! But if everything checks out and is in stock I will be ordering another one of Ionics pieces forsure tomorrow!

Thanks for the inquiry with detailed pics, I don't think that the plastic piece on the bottom of he bumper will be a problem, the bottom looks fine and the wheel well area too.

What I'm worried about is the area where the grill insert is, we don't know why that doesn't line up and if that will affect the fitment of the lip. Also we are missing a full shot of the front end of the car to see if there is anything else off.

In my humble opinion I would seriously recommend that you order the lip unpainted, and order a replacement bumper and have them both painted at the same time, most shops will charge you the same price to paint just the bumper or the bumper + lip.

If you you don't want to go that route then the unpainted lip would be my second recommendation since you will be able to fix any problems before the paint is added. It's very difficult to adjust painted parts since they are so delicate.

Please let me know if you need any more help or info.

Here is 2 pics of my bumper.

As much as I would not mind a new bumper I'm not sure I would have the money for it rite now so I may have to wait. Also any suggestions where to get one would help.

Let me know if the bumper looks like it would be a good fit for this lip. I know it's hard just via pics.

I live in a small city with very rediculous paint shop prices, but I will call around getting quotes on painting this particular item. Thanks!

Thanks for the extra pics, I honestly can't see anything out of the ordinary, other than that issue with the bottom grill insert. If you want to go ahead and order a painted lip that is totally fine with me, I understand your situation and know how expensive paint can get. I just wanted you offer you more options than you might have not considered and not just make a quick sale.

Please let me know if you have any more questions.

Of course I'm also really glad g35 driver has such helpful members and sponsors! I decided to order a lip and if fitment is off I will hold onto the lip untill I get a replacement Oem bumper.

I did not get asked for a paint code when ordering the 05 sedan lip tho! So I will pm you with it!

Also I looked through the thread and did not see where you use the 3m double sided tape. I'm sure it's in the instructions but what size tape etc do I buy no experience with this :P
