so i guess i wasnt clear enough in my last post.

so two pictures below. if you see how they are laid out, the front half is laid differently. which is correct?

#1 - lower surface of FRONT HALF points toward the car. (it is sloping DOWN towards the front)

#2 - higher surface of FRONT HALF points toward the car. (it is sloping UP towards the front)

Size: 31.9 KB

if you can clarify that for me.. thanks.

and also for others, the bolts that were supplied have such small head that it just slides through the elongated (not sure why the holes are elongated, and not a perfect circle. maybe fitment issue during the manufacturing?) holes. I had to purchase matching washers so it doesn't do that. washers are NOT removable in the oem bolts,.

When you put the front piece up it will only fit one way - it is perfectly a mirror image so flipping it around fits the holes just won't match to the bumper. Should be similar to the picture of the brushed photo.

Bumper >>> Radiator Support
................... __________
__________ /

Bumper sits lower - metal will bend UP from the bumper to the radiator support

As for the holes being elongated - its so that you have a small amount of adjustment. Some people may need extra fitment. I have never seen the bolt heads slide through the shroud - once you tighten everything up you should not have any problems or need any washers. Having installed these personally on 20+ vehicles, it has never once failed me.

I believe its impossible to mount it incorrectly!!

If the front piece doesn't fit - you just flip it upside down - its symmetric

The one that goes under the engine helps protect the oil pan, why would you want another?

Hey, have you thought about making airboxes like the ARC ones? Maybe even in titanium?
