i figured i would get stuff well over my power range, my fuel pump is good to 1300 FI hp, tranny good to 1200hp and 1100 ft pounds, now i need to do something about the axles, i am thinking a four link with a ford 8.8 but i dont know if i want to pretty much back half it right now...

If you're going to back-half your car, it might be better to wait to put the cage in until after you get the rear end done.
I back-halved my Camaro back in the day... 2x3 frame, ladder bars, Don Hardy coil-overs, narrowed Dana60 rear, Henrys axles & spool, 6.50 gears, wheel tubs, cage, aluminum floor... I did everything myself except some of the welding (the important welding) and it took a bit over a year.
Sounds like you're getting ready for a lot of fun, Jeremy... Good luck! Keep us posted!

this car has too much power to do anything but in a straightline, i am buying a track car just for road courses soon for sure. my heart is truly in drag racing.
vinny ten is going to call me tomorrow night, i am asking him what he is running on his 8 second street Z, he has been very very cool so far.
DONT WORRY, i will have lots of pictures and lots of videos here soon.
