it read dvd-r's so no need for ipod unless you get a 30 or 60gig one, it doesnt have nav but you can buy the kenwood nav and they also have a kenwood ipod connector is you want

The dash replacement for a G35 Coupe is for double-DIN. Some people do put a single-DIN player in a double-DIN opening and then make a tray for the unused part of the opening (like Jose said).

For my money, I just like the look of the full in-dash double-DIN look. That's why I got an Eclipse head unit with Nav.

I prefer a double DIN video screen install compared to a flip up screen. There are less parts to break.

I think Im gonna try my DD install at JR Electronics. Anyone know how much they charge for the full install with the dual climate control soldered as well?
