That would be great!!!

I have a DL burner if you need one. I made backups of my original Eclipse Nav disk.

Finally burned the DVD last night and it worked. For some reason, my laptop wouldn't burn dual layer no matter what firmware I installed. My PC burned it fine though. Let me know where/when you want to pick up the disk. I'm sure it'll work with your eclipse too.

Got your PM. Don't worry about compensating for the cost. What happened was my girlfriend is a real estate agent and she's terrible with directions, so I let her borrow my car for a few days so she could use my nav and show some houses to her client...

Well, bad idea, she's not used to driving lowered cars and she dinged up my bumper pretty bad. So I installed my nav in her car and got the AVN6600 for mine and it came with the updated DVD. The updated DVD worked in the old one, so i'm sure it'll work in yours which was newer.

Nice of you to give your girlfriend your old equipment as an excuse to upgrade.

Thanks!!! That sounds super! I really appreciate your doing this. I'd also like to check out your AVN6600 too. You can play DVDs in both slots of that, right?

We could have a quick Mini-Meet at Quaker Steak and Lube tomorrow or Friday night. I just checked on their special group schedule. Bikers are tonight, so we missed them...

Thursday the Classic Car Guys meet from 4:30pm until 8:30pm, then the Tuner Crowd meets from 8:30 until 10:00pm. The girl on the phone called them the hot rod street racers. That might be fun. They close at 10:00pm on Thursday night.

Friday they have a band on the Patio with no groups. I guess they have enough people on Friday to skip the club scene. They close midnight on Friday night.

Either day is good for me. Let me know which is better for you and we'll get something going.

There's not too much different with the avn6600. I don't think you can play dvd in both slots. I think one slot is dedicated to map. I haven't tried putting a normal DVD in the map slot. It would have been cool to get the HDD one, but I wanted the ipod control.
