Performance Factory dyno results thread

For those inclinded to post...

I made it home first (apparently). Anyway, I got 235hp and 221tq on Jeremy's Dynojet. This is lower than my last dyno a year ago (246hp 223tq), however, it was a lot cooler on that date/less humidity and I now have new wheels that are 5lbs a piece heavier.

Either way, I'll use Jeremy's dyno from now on, and it's fairly close to my old result, that I can still have a good gauge of the power. Now, it's off to get the Crawford cats, Fuji ypipe and utec install and tune. Woo hoo!!!

Just as a teaser, something tells me _jb will be tops (no offense ryan and his more usable power)...let's see what he says!!!

Yep, it was a fun day for sure. Here's a picture of Jeremy getting ready to back my G onto the dyno's rollers.

I was about the fourth car to dyno and was surprised to hit 260.4 horsepower. It was the first time I dynoed my G and, to be honest, I was just hoping to get in the 240's. The other runs were close to this, but less... mid to high 250's as I remember. I'll look tomorrow.

Ryan hit 259 horsepower last week and I figured he would be the overall NA winner today. It turns out that the RevUp motors seem to make a bit more power on the top end. While my numbers are good for bragging rights, Ryans car had about 20 horsepower more than me all through the RPM range until the top. When I left, Ryan was planninging to run again, so I suspect he pulled more power in the cooler night air after I left.

yeah, ryan was nice enough to give up his spot later on in the night, thanks ryan, i was just getting tired strapping ALL those cars down from 9 am till 10 15 pm (last car)

ryans car still dominates over all the cars we dynoed yesterday from 3000 to 6000, his tq and mid range hp levels are just unbelievable.

as soon as i get some time, hahah, i will mess around and make some graphs to over lay some runs....

My number was 235 hp but we'll see what it is later this week.

I had a great time standing around BSing though. I can't believe the last dyno was at 10:15 pm.

I can't believe you stayed until 10:15pm... By 8pm, I was tired from talking and watching you work all day.

Ryan's G rocks, that's for sure. Nice looking and fast... I'll get a few mods before I dyno again to catch up... but he'll get some too... Hahaha...

dyno results

The 930 only put down 320 hp and was only boosting to .6-.7 bar on the dyno. It should have been at 1.0 for max power.... not sure what was going on there, but its was fun either way. Thanks Jeremy!

we had a little fun there on 528, I hope you weren't letting off. A clear example of turbo lag being a head start for the other guy lol

Pics/video

Hey guys, awesome day yesterday, had a blast hanging out with the G guys as always.

For those of you who I didn't get to meet, my name is Chris I had the aps tt 350z.

Just wanted to thank Performance Factory Jeremy( AudibleMayhem) and Matt (ZU L8R) for hosting an awesome Dynoday yesterday. It truly was a dyno DAY, starting from 9am and finishing at 11pm.

My last dyno was done in FL's hot summer and I put down 428rwhp on another local dyno. Last night I was one of the last ones to get on the dyno and it was cooler being it was around 10pm.

I put down a best dyno of 435rwhp and 391rwtq @ 9psi on my "stock block." I would say for the most part Jeremy's dyno was pretty much dead on.

My mods were:

APS Twin Turbo Kit @ 9psi
Crawford Cast Intake Plenum
APS 3.5" Downpipes
APS 3" Dual Exhaust
UR lightened Crank Pulley
JWT Clutch & Flywheel
HKS SSQV BOV

This will probably the last dyno I do on my "stock block"

Yes he did, I'm sure he'll post his numbers soon. I think He did 260rwhp, 247rwtq. He definately has a strong motor.
