MotorDyne spacers are the most popular around here, and for good reason.
IMO, a spacer is one of the best bangs for your buck. But for "the money" you can get a Skunk2 5/8 spacer for $180 and it has the cooling characteristics of the expensive thermal spacer kits, since it is not metal. I can run really hard and still place my hand on top of the plenum and its only warm to the touch.
I love my Skunk2 5/8 spacer, it feels like a 10 shot of NOS at the top end. lol

um a md spacer is better than a skunk2. then a plenum is better than a spacer. thanks for trying though.

Im not understanding your sarcasim w0ady. Can you please rephrase your comment?

I just stated that MD is more popular, and In My Opinion the Skunk2 spacer is a better cost "bang for the buck" than a more expensive ISO thermal spacer. No where did I imply a spacer is better than a even more expensive Plenum replacement. Jeez...

sorry dawg. just the comparisons ive seen show the skunk2 isnt worth it. but thats just me.

np mang... i respect your opinion. i just wanted to give props to the skunky because it's been kind to me.

if anyone can find some comparison independent plenum spacer dynos that has the skunk2 included. id be all over that, like a fat kid on a cupcake.

Nothing with the Skunk, but MD's website has a reprint of the charts from Sport Z Magazine's shootout between APS, MD, Crawford, and Kinetix.

I have a 2006 6MT coupe with a Stillen dual cat back exhaust and a K&N CAI. I am so NOT sure if my next upgrade should be the Stillen headers or MREV2 + plenum spacer.

Me personally..I have the MREV2 + 5/16 coming in on Tuesday. Will be installed on Thursday with dyno pulls.

My buddy on his 05 6-mt with the same setup pulled 18 extra ponnies with
22ft lbs of Tq. Not bad numbers for what hes got. All stock except for
what I mentioned...even running the OEM airbox!

Easy decision if it was me

Will I be losing some low end torque with MREV2 + 5/16 SPACER??? I noticed that after I installed the Stillen exhaust I lost some low end torque and gained more high end torque. I will be honest with you.... I will rather gain some low end torque rather than high end. Thank you!
