NISMO R Tuned Break Pads
NISMO R Tuned Break Pads
Can anyone tell me why they say I cant use these pads on the stock rotors. I need new break pads and want to get away from the stock OEMs. Will these cause my rotors to warp or groove dont undersand why it would fit the OEM brake setup but they say not to use them with the stock rotors.

First, it's "brake."
those are competition style pads and they do not fit 2005 + models.
Get some Axxis Deluxe (I have them on the sedan) or the Axxis Metal Matrix. I got them from http://www.importrp.com/pbr.html.

First off these pads will work on 03-06 G35 without Brembo's. The part that says *Does not fit 05+ G* is a typing error (Which will be fixed right away).
The Part that says "not recommended for use with factory rotors" is, because it's a harder compound and will wear the factory rotors faster. It can be used with factory rotors if you wanted to use them. Thanks!!

They also look to be a dual duty track/street pad. Meaning they will perform well at higher temps but at the expense of cold braking abilities. Not sure if this is the type of pad you want for your street car. Unless you track sometimes and are careful about the 1st few times you hit the brake pedal

He's got it ^
! It looks like your in Orlando, so it stays pretty warm there. You would have to sacrifice a little bit of drive ability for the performance side of it.-Mike

If your looking to upgrade your brakes, but don't want to do a big brake kit... I would look into Racing Brake Rotors, and a good set of Hawk Pads! I carry both brands!
