You can't put a CCFL tube where the clearance strip is. There is nothing there to put it in.

I went with the mirrored amber 7440 and clear 194 bulbs. Your old PIAA's won't fit in this housing. Remember that every bulb is different.

this is what im most likely going with...

phillips ultinon 6000k d2s
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PHILI...QQcmdZViewItem

piaa spark 8000k h1
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PIAA-...mZ280069865060

piaa mirror chrome 7440
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PIAA-...mZ280069866304

and i have piaa super white leds in my clearance strips that i will use for city lights.

ive been debating the fogs the most. i keep mine on all the time so i think the yellow will be too odd. 6000k might not be bright off to match the projectors so ill probably have to try 8000k.

I'd go with the mirror bulbs. You'll be able to see the LEDs. you can see the city light pretty good in this pic. It's in the upper right of fog light reflector.
