Don't go "CHEAP"
Don't buy entry level tires for your G, after a few miles you'll be very glad
you went with Michelins Sports!

I drive about 38K miles a year here in florida and i just put on a set of goodyear eagel F1 gs-d3 and they are the best tires i have used in the rain yet. Hydro resistance is insane.

if you drive with vdc on, t1-r's are a great choice. if not, id try 555s or the azenis. pilot sports are great tires but a bit pricey.

I love my cheapy General Exclaim UHPs.......they hook up hard!!! trust me, if I'm putting down 400 rwtq and have no traction issues, these tires are great.

Added bonus is that they are quiet, nice ride, and super cheap!!!!

I agree completely. My gs-d3's are great in the rain.

I had a set of 555's on my A8 and I put 63,000 miles on them. So thats why I say 555's. BTW when I replaced them they were about to fall off the rims...haha

I would go with the T1's or some Falken FK452's. The 555's are an awesome dry performance tire but are not the best when wet. For Phoenix they are great.
