2007 Lakeland CFL Meet - Pictures
The CFL Lakeland Meet today at Beef'O'Brady's was a blast! We had an awesome turnout and some spectacular new mods. I had so much fun talking to all my friends that I actually lost track of how many cars and people showed up.
Here's a shot of all our cars in a row... You can see that from Ian's car to the end is quite a distance away.
Here is a crowd of people checking out Ryan's new turbocharger... all the way down to Kevin's Z right after my Red G. There was actually one more car down there...
Most of the time, I avoid taking pictures against the sun, but this time I wanted to show the cars from the other direction. Jeremy brought his new all motor 350Z to the meet, and it drew a lot of attention. I snuck out to get this shot...
This is what it looked like around Jeremy's Z most of the time. Only Jeremy would finish a new motor on Monday, get rained out trying to race it on Wednesday, race it on Saturday, and bring it to a FGC CFL Meet on Sunday... Pretty wild...
Chuck was there with his newly installed SuperCharger in the Dark Knight... Chuck's G is always one of, if not the best prepared car at a meet. The Dark Knight was fitted with a new A-Pillar gauge pod for this meet. Very nice. Chuck is the first person I've seen to match the passenger side to the A-Pillar... looked great !!!
Chuck's engine compartment and SuperCharger installation were spotless...
Sean Gilley also had a new SuperCharger for the Meet... Well, not for the Meet, but it was new to most of us at this Meet. Another spotless engine compartment and SuperCharger installation.
I went looking for Ryan, to take a few pictures of his new Turbo installation, and while we were talking, he asked if I'd like to go for a ride... I said yes, of course and we zoomed off... I have to say that Ryan's G is a rocket. It is significantly faster than any G I have ever ridden in... amazing pulling power... After coming back, I completely forgot to take any pictures of Ryan's G... If any of you took some, please post them... Oh, and...
Thanks for the ride, Ryan !!!
Beef'O'Brady's set aside a nice room in the back of the restaurant for us and it was perfect. The waitresses were friendly and the food was super. Eating good food and chatting about VQ35's... what's better than that...
Nice to see Big Rich and his wife make the event... Chucky looks pretty happy... you have to know Chuck... Logan didn't get bonked in the head this time, so he was happy... Ryan wanted to make sure Lauren didn't get away...
Here's some of the crew from the other end of the table...
And here's the Tampa/St. Pete crew at an overflow table...
If any of you took pictures, feel free to post them in this thread if you want to...
I had a great time... Thanks for coming everyone...

The Tampa Caravan met at the I-4 Exit 10 Wendy's as planned... Left to right is Me, Chad, Cobra, 143trust, Lenny, and Bill. Something happened on the Interstate (explosion, fire) so we took a back route to a Western entrance to I-4 to avoid it. Worked out fine...
Lenny had some new wheels for his Coupe... Very nice...
Bill showed up with his new wheels to... It must be almost Summer... Everybody's getting new wheels !!!
That's about it for me...
