Also, Nissan makes a paint pen that you should be able to match. The same thing happened to me.

I didn't know that was likely to happen. I recently debadged the "G35" symbol from the trunklid on my '05. There was a very slight difference in the color, but after a few coats of Z-5 and a few days of sun, you can't see it.

I got my touch-up paint at Lokey.

Have you tried a claybar?

Glue Monster.......

I don't believe the glue ate the paint.....the damage was probably there when
the letters were applied to the trunklid. Shouldn't cost more than $100 to
have that area painted.......no touch up paint, now it will be perfect!

If you want to use touch up paint. Try this, touch up paint and then wet sand 1000 a little, 2000 a little more & then 3000, buff and done. It sounds like alot but it actually takes alot longer to go and get the materials.

I have severly scratched my mirror pulling through a drive through before and put several layers of touch up paint on and wet sanded flush and buffed and no one can tell. Takes patients
