2003 G35 Coupe Driver's side Window not working...*HELP!*

Hey guys,

A couple days ago my driver's side window stopped working, it wouldn't go down, so I kept playing with it and finally it did. Now it won't go back up! When I press the button I just hear a clicking noise. Has anyone had this problem before? I did some research and found this is pretty common for our cars for the window motor to crap out, but I'm just over the warranty period so I'm screwed Also, if anyone knows where to get cheap parts and labor for the fix I'd appreciate it. My passenger side window still works fine btw. Thanks in advance!

If you are just over the warranty, the stealership may fix it under warranty under good will. It is a very common and known problem.

Start by calling Infiniti Consumer Assistance anonymously and see what they say. They may give the green light and instruct the dealer to fix it.

You window motor/regulator is going out, in the meantime before you get it fixed. Try this, shut the down a little harder than normal and hold the window switch in the up or down pos. while closing. It makes the window work temp. to get it up or down.
