JDM License plates?

I don't know if there is any interest in this at all, but a friend of mine asked if I was interested in a JDM license plate.... I wasn't but I figured I'd ask you all.

From what I am told these are directly from Japan and are the white plates with green numbering/characters on them. (She said she could also possibly get yellow plates with black numbering/characters). She's selling for $35 a peice.

If anyone at all is interested I'll relay any questions to her and find out what I can and when she's leaving the country and when she'll be back.

From what I've been told these are actual plates.... which means they have previously been used.

Ok here is the photo she sent me.

The one I personally saw was the one in the lower left hand corner. She stated that the circular identation is caused by a Japanese national seal they put there.

Yeah, those look real... they put a big bolt/seal that is tamper proof to prevent theft and enable easy ID. These plates are hard to get since they are collected when the car is junked or crashed. Very cool... lemme think on it, I have to figure out how I'd mount it

Yeah just let me know, she doesn't leave until Thanksgiving week so you all have time to mull it over.
