Thanks for all the nice comments, guys... I appreciate it.

I finished the differential break-in this weekend (300 miles). The break in amounts to a couple of hundred miles of easy driving followed by 15 minutes of figure eights and then a fluid change. The gear oil was a dark, metallic black... lots of carbon fiber in it... now I should be good to go for 4,000 miles.

I realized this morning that I hadn't posted any pictures with this thread... That's not good, so here's a picture of my new Nismo rear end cover.



The fins help keep the fluid cool... a necessity with higher gears... or, maybe I just thought it looked cool... Hahahaha...

thats the same reason why i got one when my diff was leaking lol

I like road races versus drag strip. It matter to me if he is in 4th at 60mph.

yeh
i think i got mine at lokey for $95
they had one instock that day when my car was in there for that problems so i figured why not i always wanted one lol

now when i get my free evo tt due to my wheels fitting you will be able to see it.

I'm curious too. I have a 5AT with the 3.5 VLSD pumpkin (and all of the requisite bolt-ons) and have been contemplating changing the gears to pick up some acceleration.
