I put up a write up in the Tech section on removing the extra idler pulley on the P/S - Alt belt.

It is an easy mod with no drawbacks, and is great to do when it comes time to put new belts on your car.

That's a great mod... Gets rid of weight on the front end and doesn't cost anything... well, except for the new belt.

Thanks JB. I needed new belts anyway. I was looking at them the other day, and I could see alot of cracking on the belts!

 

Very nice. Never though about it but why do we have it anyway?

 

Someone said it was there to drive the old fans on the early 2003 G35s.
