Deptuty E. Taylor is on the loose!!!

On my drive home from the wally world doin groceries... i get pulled over in the G going the speed limit on cruise control... for having "Plastic covering over plate" and apparently this is some sort of moving violation because i got a ticket for $91!!!!

Shouldn't that be one of those where you fix it and take it to the police place and have them verify it's been "fixed" and pay a $5 fee and it's dismissed?

I've attached a pic of the plate so you can see how rediculus this is!!! if any of you have this "plastic covering over plate" i'd really reccommend that you take it off, not worth the 45 minutes the guy made me get outta the car and everything!!! I was like WTF!

honestly that really just pisses me off reading it, like it gives me such a bad impression of cops, I know its not all of them but some of them just have a bad day and take it out on people. I'd take that Cop to court cuz i know his dumb *** wouldnt have the face to show himself.

yeah that was pretty much my feeling, especially when he made me get outta my car and "keep my hands where he can see them" and sh*t it was frustrating! and then the normal question if the car was mine and he like looked at my registration and then looked at my vin plate, like i stole it or something? i dunno he was a complete ***!

sorry dude. i got crap for it when i first moved to jax. the cop said my uf frame blocked the plate since he didnt know what a missouri tag looked like. havent had problems with my plate lately and it covers more than yours.

I'll bet the Cop thought it was one of those clear covers that deflects the flash at an automated traffic light monitor.

You shouldn't have any problem if it's just a simple cover. Take it to court.

yup i took multiple pictures i'll have them all printed up for court... hopefully traffic court guy will just throw it out before going to court.

Yeah JB it's just a regular clear cover, only reason it's on there is cuz it hides the screws cuz i think that's the ugliest thing on a nice car to be able to see the screws of the license plate...

What you should do is change the plate to something that shows it Better then take a Picture of it and take that picture to court and say (I DON'T KNOW WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT MY PLATE IS CLEARY VISIBLE) it will work!

Honestly, I wouldnt change things up but when you go to court, put a piece of paper in your rear window that says your license plate and take your plate and holder in to the court and complain that you just don't want your plate to be taken so easily or somethin lol.

At least it's not like here in Birmingham, Alabama... they have this "new" thing called "Take Back Our Highways" where they'll give you a ticket for going ONE MPH over the speed limit (which is 60) at any time.
