feeler: gainesville raceway wed 9/3

not 100% sure but i have thursday off so i might head down to gville for their test & tune night.

waiting to hear back from my tahoe buddy if he gets his nitrous working and we'll go.

if we do, we'll meet like 4pm - roll out around 4:30 and get there 6ish. its a bit early but we can get tech'd and start doing runs asap. figure we'll stay til 8-9ish then head back. last time he was able to get 6-7 runs in like 90 mins with cooldown in between.

let me know if you're interested.

sucks to hear. where did you get gas from?

i wouldnt consider that dead. if you motor had a hole in the side of the block or a rod coming out of it, id consider that dead.

well at least you didnt pull a 360 on southside blvd.

part 2...

good news - looks like it might not be a fuel issue.

bad news - looks like it might be an oil issue.

LOL could possibly be oil consumption which i havent heard of on the autos but that was just their first thought. not to mention i have over 65k miles with no issues. they are going to take some stuff apart tomorrow and we'll know more. if anything, im still under warranty so new engine time wee.

update: engine is seized. they are waiting to get a new engine authorized. they'll have to wait until they can take it apart to figure out why. if im lucky, i should have it back by late next week depending on the weather.
