I have Nitto's on my car and they're great. No complaints. If you're worried about the price difference I'd talk to the owner, but Nitto's are great tires, IMO.

FK452's are nice tires, but I don't know if they're so much better than the Nittos. When I was researching my first replacement pair of tires (rear) the 452's seemed to be a better choice, especially for the price. And I'm very happy with them. 6 months of decent usage (long trips + spirited driving) and no significant signs of wear. If you had your heart set on the Falkens, then go back to the shop. I'm sure they'll take care of you. But from what I've read, Nittos are pretty good tires, still. I've read a handful of reviews from different websites. Unless you've driven both tires, you'll probably not be sure which one you'll like better.

I have the 555's on my car and I am happy with them.. I also put nitro in them and they felt much more responsive instantly!

I call BS on national back order. 452s are very popular tires and they are readily available nearly everywhere.

As for 555s... I've heard they're good on dry, but horrible on wet.

Oh and BTW, 452s are more of cruising tires than high performance tires if anyone wanted to know.

I go through a new set of tires every year. It gets frustrating. But I have front wheel drive and alot of tq on my 18's.

I've had Nittos on my car, but not the Falkens. I haven't heard anything bad about them yet. I'd just stick with them unless you find out that they have bad treadwear ratings or too noisy.

I was wondering if anyone else had that impression because that is what I thought for a little while now.

It really sucks when you are a loyal to a place and they treat you like crap, My brother in law bought 2 sets of wheels from them spent about $7000 there and they didn't even give him a break on the price or even a license plate frame... they won't get anymore of the money I have... anyone knows a shop that can hook me up with an exhaust for an 04 sedan?
