i know i went to either this or funkmaster flex the last 2 years but i believe this year the shows are combined or something. just curious if anyone is planning on showing/going? j and d with the green vert z cant make it. i know ozoc had cars the last 2 years and i showed with them. i need to touch base with big rich and see whats up. i might enter the show but not sure if i want to be there both days. might just come chill saturday so yea...

I was going to go, but the asshat and the homewrecker will be there. So I withdrew. If there's going to be rice there, I'm glad I won't be going anyway tho.

Don't want to spill my business on here, but the long and short of it is, the asshat is my husband who's on the other forum and after 10 years left me and my son on Xmas day for an easy piece of a$$ who's also on the other forum. Basically, both low lifes deserve each other and I'm better off without him. He's been doing it to us for years and I'd finally had enough.

As far as car meets and shows go, everytime I say I'm going to a meet or show, he and her show up to rub crap in my face like teenagers. Sometimes driving out of their way just in spite of it. So since we were both into modding and had similar friends, it makes my life difficult. I try not to let it bother me and I just keep doing my own thing. As far as I'm concerned, he'll get his in the divorce. She can have what's left of em.

 

ah sorry to hear. crappy situation. my only advice would be keep doing what you love and dont let them spoil it for you.

 

I try not to let their high school drama interfer with my own hobbies and lifestyle. His Z should be given to him in the divorce - I was the signer on it and he hasn't been able to get it out of my name because of his credit. He should just ask HER to do it for him, like I did. I'm just crossing my fingers that I won't be screwed on my credit because I don't want the car. Besides, I'd rather have a G35 anyways.

But my family and I have been modding for years and I plan to keep on doing it for many more. My son asked me about my car since he'll be 15 in a few years and I said NO WAY - I'm going to be driving it until either it dies or I DO. lol I plan on getting a second car in the Fall when this one is paid off. I wanted to get a beater - a reasonably cheap car that I can modify. So we'll see. I think I'm going to have to start hiding the keys soon.

On another note, I'm going to show at HIN in Tampa. Does anyone know if there's a discounted code for registration like last year? And who's going? There's probably a thread on it somewhere around here.

 

damn my buddys got a birthday goin on that day so wont be able to make it. i went down there last year or the year before and saw a buncha Gs and finally saw the dark knight there. hell i even stayed at the same spot KGreene was at lol. but doubt ill make it out there. and btw like lyndon said theres rice everywhere u go man, if thats your only reason for not goin thats kinda lame. plus its on the beach so lots of females on the strip.

 

shows actually inside this year but should still be fun. less sand to clean up.
