The DLPK xpresskit interface module is the one i have, but i was looking at the idatalink one and maybe that might be a better choice. I'll let you know if he can get everything working on mine, and then i can recommend the DLPK.
My installer said that its capable of doing remote starts without the key inside (transponder bypass) but i would need the key to start the car by pushing the start button.
I was reading online and i read on my350z forums that a guy tried the xpresskit #07 on his car, and he had no luck getting it to work properly at all. That was my first pick as well, because it said NISSAN '08 vehicles.
But yeah man, i'm in the same boat as you, i'm posting on orlandoforums, the12volt, here, and just trying to gather up some more information on this.

This is the idatalink one that supposedly works with our cars as well, and is much easier to install.
On a side note, i also read somewhere that its not good to buy Directed products (Viper) online, or amazon.com as they are not authorized resellers or dealers. So when you want to get some warranty work done they will deny it. I had no idea that was the case, or i might have just spent the extra 50 bucks to get it from a dealer.

Nope, not working yet. When i arm the car and walk away, 20 seconds later it goes off, saying the trunk was tampered with. strange, because i know for a fact that nobody touched the trunk.
22+ hours into the install and $200 dollars later.. still not working 100%, but i will be going back to the shop monday or tuesday to see whats up. I am patient, but this is pretty lame.

yeah! I saw that, but apparently what theyre having trouble with is initiating the remote start sequence and keeping it in manual mode for a 6spd transmission.
They put in over 22+ hours into my car already, so i know they are upside down in labor.. and they ARE working on it, so i do give them props for that. I did all the research to do the install myself too, but we would need like a bitwriter programming tool, and a bunch of wires in addition to what the alarm comes with.
We would also need the wiring diagrams, but i'm sure that if you asked a bestbuy employee to print em out for you they can.
Well yeah man, im about to end this installation either by letting them finish or ripping it all out. If it works, your more than welcome to take a look and see if its what you like, before you dive into it.
edit: heres my thread on OF too, http://www.orlandoforums.com/forum/s...d.php?t=129771

Okay, well heres the deal.
they took out the viper 5901, and put in the hornet 727T factory integrated alarm. This one works off the factory keyfob, and it seems to work a lot better than the viper. I guess compatability with the G37 isn't there, because they got the hornet one to work within about two hours. The shop even got all the sensors working with my factory alarm, so its like a super factory alarm.
I am going to be selling the viper privately for a wicked deal, i dunno if u guys want it or not, just PM me... if not i'll just put it up on craigslist.
