Introducing myself--Orlando!

Hey there everybody. My name is Ted. I just got a G35 transferred from the Ft. Lauderdale carmax to mine in Sanford. It should be here in the few days. I got an 05 AT coupe... I love the 19" rays... can't wait to see them in real life though, haha.

I'm so excited because the G35 has always been my dream car. I started with a cadillac seville, moved on to an RX8, and am currently driving a Ford Freestyle (disgusting, I know!). I have always loved Zcars and especially the G35 coupe. Nothing out there looks nearly as classy and cool for under $75k.

I'm hoping to do some audio stuff first (new head unit, JL sub and power) then I'll toy with the exhaust and all that good stuff.

Looking forward to getting involved here and learning as much as I can about my new car.

Here are some pictures... first thing will be a nice tint all the way around.

Performance: Exhaust. I am looking at the Stillen & the Borla. I've always loved the way Borlas have sounded but I hear the Stillen is great for the G. I need to listen to some more.

Audio: I'd like to get an all in one GPS/Satellite/MP3/FM/AM head unit... something from the Kenwood DNX series probably. Then I want to get a nice JL 10" sub and about 500 watts to it... might change out the factory speakers to some nicer ones. Nothing too crazy, just want a little low end.

welcome ted! congrats on the new g.

ive always heard good things about stillen. its the heaviest but gives some of the highest n/a gains. id stay away from the borla - too many pieces (places for leaks) and sound note is pretty blah.

27k. There was one with 20k but it did not have the premium wheels/aero package. I've read a lot of conflicting information on here on whether or not all coupes have the sports suspension package or not... But I'm led to believe that this one definitely has it while the other one I was looking at didn't.

Congrats on the New G. Hope you think about becoming a Florida G35 Club Member down the road.

Welcome to Orlando! I'm a fan of JL myself. I've had a whole crap load of JL equipment sitting in my closet for almost a year now. I've never gotten around to shelling out the cash to get it installed.

(2) JL 12W6V2
JL 1000/1 amp
JL 300/4 amp
JL components (VR)
JL two way 6x9's

+1 on the Borla advice. Not speaking from experience, though. But I've read a lot of bad things about them.

My parents do. I live in Winter Park. I grew up in Sanford though.

Thanks for all the welcoming everybody! I can't wait for the G to get here...
