car trouble

hey guyz.. i needed ur opinion.. about 3 months ago i got an aftermarket clutch installed at courtesy infiniti in tampa... shorty after i start gettin problems with my gears.. when the gear box is hot and i stop at a light or pull into a parkin spot, i sometimes have to force it into first.. or force it into reverse .. im thinkin its my syncros.. so i've takin it back to courtesy like 4 times.. and they keep tellin me they cant recreate it.. they keep tellin me they want to recreate it before they open it up becuz they dont wanna blow 5,000 on a new tranny and then thatz not the problem.. so i dont know what else to do... im startin to get pissed wit the whole ****in situation.. i've talked to one of the service guys there that im cool with.. and he sayz they're good for **** like that their.. they keep prolongin things so eventually ur warranty expires and u pay for everythin out of pocket... any advice?

if its on your record as good faith they have to fix it but they might be stringing you along. get someone to give you an accurate estimate of whats wrong. ive always heard good things about christian @ lokey so maybe he can help you out.

If you know how to recreate it, why don't you show them yourself?

it mainly happens when im stuck in rush hour traffic or after a long drive.. i took it to them so they could drive it.. but they couldnt recreate it after driving it... its becomin a pain because at times im stopped at a light and cant get it into first gear after either jigglin it a few times.. or forcing it in... my drivetrain is still under warranty.. so thatz y i been back numerous times.. i guess ill call lokey and try my luck there

^^He is a tech and works on most the FGC cars. Your advisor would probably be Christina..if you are lucky.

Last time I had an issue I went to Lokey and I worked with both of them. They were both great. Christina told me about the $109 feed to diagnos what my issue was and that would be applied to any repairs that were not covered by my standing warrenty. I had an issue with the TPS where at a redlight my car would just die. I would hit the gas and the car would move like I had just left off the brakes. it was covered and they even waved the diagnoses fee. Christian even talked with me about doing turbos on mine soon. great peeps.
