Ft. Lauderdale people

What's there to do around there? I'm planning a trip with my friend to come down there with the G around June 25th. We have a place to stay but I wasn't sure if there were any specific points of interest or any meets going on around the end of June.

everything in SFL is far, you get used to it, oakland park is bout 10 min from downtown ft lauderdale and riverfront, beach place is like another 5 min,

the hardrock is bout 20 min away and sobe is 30 min away, not too bad IMO

ya oakland isnt bad at all. downtown ftl and riverfront are easy and chill. with school out, they will be busy. and hard rock is always a good bet.

Another vote for Hard Rock. Beachplace if you want to kick back more relaxed. Downtown has some good spots but has been even more ghetto than ever the last few years. IMHO.

And yeah, be prepared to drive a bit.
