Florida G/Z Owners Intro Thread - Introduce yourself!
well after our last huge gainesville meet, i figured id go ahead with this idea (better late than never). its always tough for me to keep track of everyones name/face/car/etc so why not just post up so we all know each other better.
so basic rules, post up your:
1. name - first is fine
2. screename - ya its already in your post but this is mainly for guys from other forums
3. location so we know where you roll
4. pic of your face, try and keep it clean/easy to view
5. pic of your car - just 1 good pic so we can see the major mods, this isnt a ***** thread.
um thats about all i can think of unless you guys want to throw any extra info like age or job or whatever. try and keep the spam to a minimum as this is mostly just an intro thread
john/ian can you sticky this please? im going to post this on the major g and z forums as well for everyone to see. lets try and spread this out for everyone in the state but we'll keep it here as a central location. thanks!

It looks as if everyone wishes to stay anonymous so i'll break the silence and bump this thread.
You see me on this forum as Demonteverde, but my real name is Ian Burias. My descent is of Chinese/Spanish/Filipino origin.
I live here in the University of Central Florida area of Orlando, FL and work in the Data Support Dept. at the AT&T Call Center by UCF.
You could say I am one of the "old timer's" in the FGC. I have been with the Florida G Club (or Florida G35 Club as it was known back then) since it's creation/inception date around December 2004. I've met/known/worked with all of the FGC's presidents from it's founder, Todd Neff to it's interim president, Wes Reinhart, to its 2nd president, Chuck Krugg, to it's current president, John Beach.
I helped create the FGC and was one of it's founding members (along with Daniel Bazley/SFLG35/FGC's current vice president and a few others). I currently serve as FGC's treasurer/secretary but have served as director in the past. WE are a great groupe of enthusiasts and I hope this group continues to grow and prosper even when I am gone.
I was at one time a moderator for the entire G35driver forum but have now been relegated to moderating this club forum only.
My weapon of choice is my 2004 G35 coupe that I purchased in late Feb. 2004. At the time I was infatuated with gettinga 350z as it was Nissan's return to the sports car genre, so to speak. But I was disappointed with the Z when it was released so instead waited to get the G35 Coupe...Been through 2 car accidents and it still continues to serve me well...
Soon i'll have the inven on. Give me 2 weeks...

For some reason all the pictures w0ady takes of me with Hooters girls turn out to be blurry... yet the pictures of him and the girls always turn out crystal clear... Hmm...
I usually take a lot of pictures, so I don't have many of me... Here's a picture of me adjusting the idle on Sean Gilley's supercharged G35 Coupe... You can see Ryan and Ian in the background...
Here's another shot that I think Mark (Ian's brother) took at Quaker Steak & Lube earlier this year.
I'm an old time drag racer and I like making normally aspirated horsepower. I'm currently reworking the intake system on my G and recently switched from a Crawford to a Cosworth plenum. I've got a few other projects in the works... Made 312rwhp on the Performance Factory dyno last year.
I've been in the Florida G Club since 2005, when I bought my G35. I've made a great many good friends in the club over the years... I was a Director for about a year and became President of the FGC about a year and a half ago.
Here's a picture of my 2005 Laser Red G35 Coupe.

Here's my info:
My name is Doug, and my screenname is lexusk8. I was a former Lexus owner (owned 2 Lexus cars before the Infiniti) and I'm an avid skateboarder (been doing it for 20 years). Thus, that explains my screenname. For those who've seen me, I may not look like a skater but believe me I am
I reside in Orlando, close to Maitland and Altamonte Springs. Currently I'm a product/sales specialist at Lexus of Orlando. Since I've already garnered knowledge of Lexus cars prior, I love the job and making customers happy about the products. Before I was in the engineering and business/finance industries in various office positions, and never had much face-to-face customer interaction besides the damned computer. Maybe when the economy gets better in a couple years or so, I might get back into the job hunt for a salaried position, but for now I'm happy with what I'm doing.
Here are a couple of pics: me and my son (he's turning 2 next month), and the G sedan.
