So obviously, i went to work.... Here is the progression so far..






spent HOURS scrubbing the hell out of the calipers... now they actually look like metal!

alot of paint (5 coats, almost done.... allowing it to cure over night now)






And i figured while i was there, i might as well paint the inside of the exhaust tips..



I clay bar'd the car (and used my PC on the hood and bumper because of all the bug guts in the paint) and i will be waxing it tomorrow... And putting everything back together

Haha. This has been a 3 day project.

So i couldnt figure out which was would be the best way to put these on... I put them on given the manufacture specs (he boxed them into "left" and "right" sides..) Since the vents on the inside are non-directional, it didnt really matter. I figured that it just flows better this way.. (with the slots curving towards to back of the car)









edit: nvm, direction did matter and i did it right.... found this online-
IMPORTANT: Pay particular attention to the rotational direction of thedrilled holes and slotted vanes. The inner most holes (closest to the hub) contact the brake pad FIRST when rolling forward. This orientation has been verified

Nice rotors, but you didn't paint them. See that ring of shiny metal closest to the hub that doesn't get swept by the pad, that will turn into a nice rust ring the first time it gets wet. Rust will also form in the slots and drilled holes.

It came with a deep zinc coating... so idk if it will. Ive seen pictures online of peoples cars after a few hundred or thousand miles and there was no rust..

if it does rust, ill clean them up and spray the small areas in there..
