I’m going to try and be as nice and civil about this as I can. I have been beyond stressed about this whole situation. Some days where I couldn’t sleep having to worry about this stupid mess. My reputation means a lot to me. Not only Z but xterra, ford, and so on forums. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS #1..thats what I go by. No matter if you sell a $5 product or a $10,000 product.
I purchased a supercharger kit from him and as you can see in the picture below what all was included. He said for the price he quoted me that he would include the gauges and ECU with license and the Osiris tune. I told him that’s fine I can give you half when my rims sell and half whenever I can get you more money. He agreed. I paid him 100 to hold it for me in cash so that it would be mine.
I had my $600 ready but He decided that he wanted all the money first before he gave me the kit.. which is understandable. So he meet me at The Irish pub that the club was at in North Tampa. Handed him $2000 cash since my rim money and tax money came in. He took it and left. Took me a couple days to get the kit because he was busy and so was I. I asked him to give me some of the parts until he took the ecu and fuel pump out of the car since he had 2000 of mine in hard cash. He said no that we wanted the rest of the 300 I owed him. Finally meet at a shop and he gave me the kit only showing the bigger pieces and parts. I trusted him that it was all there and gave him the 300 remaining balance and left. ( I was in a rush)
I set the kit at redline design and look at it a few days later. Come to find out no ECU in there and no walboro fuel pump. I message him trying to get it.. then he says that he is going to need my ECU and fuel pump which was not part of our agreement and I said that’s fine since I have no use for them. I WAS going to sell those and try to get money for a UTEC, but was nice enough to just swap with him. I told him I needed his first since mine was a DD and would give him mine as soon as mine were out and my car was on the lift. He said okay…
1 week later still no fuel pump and no ECU. In the mean time hes ignoring my calls and my txt. Finally decided to answer, that he will bring it tonight after work. I wait till 11 and still no reply or call. Next day went on and I gave him more time to get it.. No word from him.
2 days later I told him I want my parts tonight or my money back. He said at this point that he would refund me and take the kit back and make more money. I told him okay bring me the kit tonight.. Another night wasted and no call. Next morning he says hes tired of dealing with this? And if I want my money back to go and sell the kit.. Im sure he said this cuz he didn’t have my money since he spent it on his $1 build.
So I’m still waiting on the ECu and fuel pump.. I put the kit up for sale and I actually sold it… Listed everything that came with the kit in which I was supposed to have.
Well someone told him that im selling his kit. And because of that he says hell give me the fuel pump tonight but the ecu I don’t need since im selling it….??????????????????? Ive already sold the kit with everything and he dosent want to give me ecu because he has to have 2 for his build.
I finally get the fuel pump…had to drive out and get it from someone else since he gave it to them. At this point im doing whatever I can and saying what ever I can to get these parts to ship them out. Im still trying to be nice and work with him but George is being the 2 year old he is wants it all his way.
I have had to contact the seller and tell him I can only send him the tune and license and try to persuade him that it is cheaper to do this. Not only does it make me look like I want keep the ecu but makes me look like a bad seller. He agreed but said I would have to send him some money back in which George did not agree to pay. I told geroge if the kid says there is anything wrong with the kit or he has problems getting the tune that he owes me a ECU. That’s how much I tried working with him. His response…” I promise I will NOT be buying another ECU at all”.
I put all this aside and wait for the rom files to be emailed to me..not telling when hes gonna send it.
He finally sent me the files. Before I even sent them to the kid I sent them to Jared at Uprev/orisis to confirm a valid license and tune.. NOTHING.. he has been personally helping me and I talked to him personally. HE SAID THERE is no valid files. I called twice nothing granted he was at work..texted him later and he said he would check after 6.
Sooo seller gets the kit and tells me another piece is missing. I tell George that it is missing hes says no that its all there. And I know for a fact this piece wasn’t. He says hell try and find one.. The person I sold it too decides hes had enough and wants a refund.. I don’t blame him, I refunded him that instant.
He said he would give me the license soon, call him up to get it and go over there. And all of a sudden another excuse comes up…”his ECU crashed”??? at this point Im just done.
All I have to say is I will NEVER do business with him or help him again with anything. Go learn how to do business or should I say a “transaction.” I DON’T know what your problem is ..i really don’t. I stuck to my word but you didn’t. I tried working with you, but you didn’t. I lost in this whole agreement….you? you probably lost a lot of good friends and the trust of this club (350z of florida). AND don’t try and say that you tried to help me out..when you agree to something you’re supposed to come thru. whatever extra you do is not “helping me out”
BUYER BEWARE.
I would recommend people to write down agreements on paper NO matter who they are. Thought I could trust another club member but it seems as if I am wrong. I’m sure he is going to come in here and say that “its obvious that I had to give him my ecu and fuel pump or that it was assumable or part of the agreement”
Don’t forget karma is a b***h. It will get you.
