We voted to change around all of the board of directors, not just add some more people...

I am curious why we even voted for President or Vice President if they both stayed the same? Im sorry but i have NEVER seen Dan at a meet or even know that he was president before all of this commotion. (given he is in SouthFL) And i have not seen veronica as an active member here as of recently. I understand people have lives but you shouldn't hold a position that you cannot do what would be required of that position.

If Dan has been president since JB left, thats what.... a year or more now? This club has only gone downhill...

When was our last big club meet anyways?? The only one i remember is back in 2007 when lokey infiniti had their giant meet. So much for planning a giant club meet where almost everyone came out. We have has successful regional meets but that was the only one i have seen where people from all over the state came out...

Until i see any changes in the future, i am no longer participating in any "club" events or wasting my time trying to save it. I am too frustrated with no results and people staying in a position where they haven't done anything noticeable to help the club as a whole since they have been in power.

 

Tell ya what. Take me off the list. I prefer to just show up to a few meets a year, not pay dues and then bitch and moan as much as possible. Makes life a lot easier for me.

Oh, when can I get one of those new stickers?

 

Well, it's a step in the right direction. Give it some time an see how it pans out. Congrads to all. Now when is our next big meet? Plan early so everyone can accordingly.

I have yet to bitch about this topic, if you read anything i have posted up until now i have done nothing but give suggestions on how to improve things and even offer up my own time to try to help get sponsors or discounts for the orlando group. I have no problem dropping $40, $60, $100 a year to be a member of the club, or whatever the fee will be. Yes i have a shirt and stickers, but those are back from 2007 when i first got my car. I dont even have the new stickers that many people have.

 

Its all good mate....We will make due with what we got. As W0ady said its not set in stone atleast we have some direction torward where we want to go. Lets just play it by ear and see how it goes. Best of luck to the directors in their respectful regions and happy posting. Happy Mood everyone!

 

im glad everyone knows how to READ:

1. i explained in the voting thread that when the club was established, the bylaws state that ONLY directors have a vote for board members. is this how it will always be? maybe, maybe not. but we're taking things 1 step at a time.

2. i asked that any discussions be kept to the other thread that was started for that reason.

3. quit b1tching and congratulate the people that will help to turn things around jesus.

Last big meet we had was ft desoto thqt me and ricky put together. We ha e had a few convos since then about another meet there soon ..

Only a few here know but I recently in the past week lined a a nice aponsor from ionic - jose and he will be makim us huge florida g club banners and stuff .. we will have huge group buys from him as well has discounted prices on all after market exterior parts , bumpers, side skirts, hoods, trucks and tons more whuch I thought was awesome.only way to benefit from this is being a paid member ..

I also have talkes to charles owner and friend of mine and he would like to sponsor our club as well..:-)


I have a few more things lined up as well and in the works but again I wanted to say thanks everyone for picken me as a florida rep..
