Alright so ive decided instead of going all out on my car and spend all my money i have every month towards building it, i decided to do one mod to my car per month and just save the rest of my money for the big things / emergancies. So my choices right now are.....Megan resonated test pipes, Plenum spacer (maybe Z1s),or Ztube + Pop Charger.

I already have the Xo2 Exhaust on my car now so im looking at what to do next. Also heres my complete list + or - a few things...

Let me know what you guys think on the list and also what i should do next out of the choices i listed above.

 

I also forgot to mention i have an 05 5AT G coupe with no other mods other than the cat-back.

I thought about wheels i was looking at Varrostoens TE37 knock offs but i actually like the OEM 19s on there but i think once i boost it wheels will be a must with wider tires.

color of your car? if black or white, id get your 19s powdercoated bronze if black or gold if white. any other color.. i dont like the 19s with. how many miles are on your vq? if they are high, i wouldnt do any engine mods cause youll end up repalcing it eventually. thats what im doing. im going for looks only. i grab the trunk first.

 

I have a Laser Red coupe with about 83k miles i have seen pics of the 19s in bronze and i must say they are sexy. If i did end up having to swap motors id take all the mods to the new motor but i would rebuild my motor with better internals before swapping.

 

I'm going for a very similar build to yours. I say do it!

 

Wont the z tube and pop charger just be replaced by the turbo kit? Wasted money imo.

It will but at that time when im ready to drop the money on a turbo il just sell it but i have several thousands of dollars between now and then this is a long term thing. So once i get the last bit of maintanence taken care of tomorrow, im starting the bolt ons and after the bolt ons im going with the visual mods and sound system. Then once im done with everything il do the turbo and maybe a built motor. But im not going all out on the car just a few "cheap" mods a month while i put money away on the side for the more costly stuff.

Nice man when you start doing the work keep us posted! I think i may keep this thread open when i get stuck on the question should i spend the money on this or that first. When i have mostly everything done il make a build thread and flood that with pics of the car (shes a pic *****)
