The posts in these threads are chit chat and shouldn't contain useful information that would be needed to be referred to in the future.
Where was the consistency moderation years ago? Why change now? That's my point. Why can't the decision to lock vs. delete be left up to each individual sub-forum?

I think that the discussion threads create a sense of camaraderie and bring our club members closer together.

Nothing is changing now. It should have always been this way, but for some reason in this subforum it was not handled this way.

The decision to lock vs delete can't be left up to each individual sub-forum because it encourages people to post ***** in sub-forums which don't delete their useless discussion threads every month to inflate their post counts.

I agree with you that the discussion threads create sense of camaraderie and they will not cease to exist.

Did this all start cause Florida teamed with Cali and driver has never seen so many post in a month before and our 2 threads were flagged??

If that's the case what if we kept the chatting in or own states?

Not at all Chris, I love all of the Cali/FL love!

This was something that was brought to my attention as an inconsistency with other sub-forums. Feel free to cross state lines and chat.
