hmm casino eh. i should be down, havent been there yet. couple of my buddies are dealers over there. i would be up for whatever since i wouldnt have to drive that far afterward. pluss my house is just up the street from the casino basically.

What time are you guys planning on meeting at Lokey? The site says 8am to 3pm.

All of us in S Fla need to decide if we're going to have meeting points because we have people from Kendall to Palm Beach. I guess everyone from Boca/West Palm would have to drive down to I595 to take I75, or is there any other route?

 

I can hit 75 from the Turnpike or I could hit it from Palmetto Northbound (Kendall). I would be down to all the G's driving together.. would look pretty wicked all of us

 

I'll be the only one then to ruin the group since I'll be pimping a rental But yeah, driving together would be sweet if you guys from Miami don't mind driving up to I595 because that's the most convenient way to get to I75 from Broward and Palm Beach. Either way you have to drive north, so it's up to you.

 

Why don't you guys start a new thread for the Miami meeting place. The Orlando and Jax guys (and girls) will be doing the same thing...

i DO NOT RECOMEND taking the turnpike to 75. you will be way north of tampa if you go that way and will tack on about 50 mins just to get to tampa and then still would have to drive out to clearwater. i would highly recommend taking alligator alley out of miami and come across and then up. that is the way my brother goes when he comes here and he normally makes it in 4 hrs to 4hrs 30mins to tampa. now you guys and girls could take 75 until you hit the 275 exit take that over the sunshine skyway and into tampa and then pick up state road 60 out to clearwater from there. that might be faster for you guys.

 

I did, but 8am? Wow, we'll have to head out at like 5 in the morning But the longer the meet, the better.

Daniel, I think tgenius had in mind taking the turnpike or the Palmetto to JCT I75 here in Miami. That's why I offered all of us to meet up and take I595 to AA and then I75 so that we can all caravan together. Thanks for the directions!

 

Finiti, you guys can leave at 6pm and be there by 10:00-ish. Also, the earlier you leave, the better the traffic will be. Lunch will not be until about noon and the raffle will be after lunch to give everyone enough time to get there. Basically people will be hanging out and talking and checking out everyone's rides.

Personally I'm thinking about leaving at 6:00 myself. I have to be there by 8am, so I have no choice...

6:00AM works for me. I would rather get there earlier than everyone else so we can get setup.
