I read a DIY of some dude doing this to his wheels on his mazda and came out great. He said if you No like you can peel it off easy with out staining the wheels.
Just make sure you put enough coats down for it to stay on during normal weather conditions. This guy also used some sparkle spray paint on the final coat to give it a sparkle.
